Terra Scott

More About Terra

Terra has always been attuned to the healing arts.  When she was young, her grandmother would ask hwer to lay her hands on her to heal her.  She would give massages and advice to people older than she and would play around finding yoga poses naturally, not even knowing what yoga was. She began teaching yoga classes in 2012 and has been spreading the gift of yoga since. She continues to study and practice yoga, nutrition, herbalism, reiki, massage and meditation.  She believes that all people are capable of healing from whatever they have experienced and it is her mission to guide people through the waters of emotion and patterns of intellect and pain in their body to dissect how they react to themselves and guide them to the healing of radical self love.

Kate Swartley

Kate Swartley

More About Kate

Throughout my life I have worn many hats, such as social worker, Spanish instructor, YMCA yoga instructor and homeschooling mom. One constant in my life has been a struggle with health, both my own and that of my family. My children have inherited a lot of the health issues my husband and I have battled for years, such as food and chemical sensitivities, an inability to take regular medicine/vitamins/supplements, and a tendency towards problems with immunity. I have explored many possible solutions to these health issues, but nothing has providing the lasting changes that homeopathy has given us.

I am currently a student at the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine. I may want to practice as a homeopath one day, but mostly I want to grow in my understanding of this energetic medicine and be able to treat myself and my family. One thing I have learned after sharing my experiences with friends and family is that most people are unaware of how homeopathy works. It is not my ambition to convince anyone that homeopathy is perfect for them.

I would simply like to share my story and provide a clear understanding of what homeopathy is and how it differs from other medicines, including allopathic or traditional medicine, and other alternative therapies.

I would like to help people make an informed decision about what treatments they choose in the future.

Aging gracefully: What we do for our skin today to have a meaningful impact tomorrow.

In my series, I will be separating fact from fiction about aging, skin health and what beauty means to me. I will be sharing my journey with skincare, answering questions about what makes a skin care routine effective, highlighting key ingredients that truly having lasting benefits, performing a live facial demonstration, as well as personalized consultations for several attendees.

I am a  Licensed Esthetician who has been in the beauty industry for 10 years.  I have certifications specializing  in hyper pigmentation, skin damage, milia, and advanced facial massage. My passion lies in effective natural product lines, electrical modalities, and of course treating skin through the art of customized facials. I believe in educating people about healthy skincare habits and dispelling myths about the skin, and wading through the barrage of skincare products that we are bombarded with making false claims to brighten, lighten, tighten, and fade. I especially love helping women and teens feel more confident about themselves, and at the end of the day, truly love their bare skin.

My hope is that everyone recognizes that there is no need to compare themselves to the images so often seen in the media.
